Caraway aids digestion. It can help promote the menstrual cycle, and is used to help increase a mother's milk. It is added to cough remedies as an expectorant.
GROWING:
Caraway can be found in meadows, woods, and rocky areas. It prefers a rich soil, full sun, and regular watering throughout the growing season. It is native to Europe, Asia, and Africa, and grows wild here in North America. It is a biennial that reaches 1 1/2 to 2 feet high.
